B&B Booking Terms and Conditions

B&B Terms and Conditions

The Brockenchack Bed and Breakfast accommodations all have a 2 night minimum booking requirement, with a three night minimum on long weekends.

Bookings can only be made via our website or any booking engine we are listed on. We cannot take bookings over the phone or via emails. Enquiries can be taken over the phone or via email but rooms will not be held or reserved this way - all bookings must to be made via our online booking calendar. No deposit is required at the time of booking. Your full accommodation amount will be charged to your supplied credit card approximately one week prior to your check in date.

When you make a booking at any of our three venues you are hiring out our entire accommodation venue for your private use. If the venue has more bedrooms than you've booked for, the extra areas will simply be locked off during your stay. You have full use of the house and it's amenities. None of our beds can be split into singles. We have a limited amount of additional bedding suitable for children, available at an additional cost, as specified within each venue listing.

Free wifi is available at all our accommodation venues.

We provide a range of luxurious items for you to use during your stay, with a view to providing you the best experience possible. Such items include wireless speakers, bath robes, a full range of luxury body care products in larger bottles for continued use by future guests, as well as crystal glasses. Please note that none of these items can be taken with you on departure and replacement charges will be charged to your credit card if any of these items have been removed.

Please note that we are not set up to cater to children and there are no facilities provided for children or infants at any of our venues, aside from roll away beds suitable for a child. We cannot supply a port-a-cot, high chair or bath or any other baby equipment, but you are welcome to bring or hire your own baby gear as needed. There will be no additional charge for infants, but a child on a rollaway bed or futon mattress will incur an additional charge of $50 per night.

If the accommodation is not left in a reasonable manner at checkout, additional cleaning charges may be incurred by the guest.

Any queries surrounding your booking can be directed in writing to Megan McMurdo via info@brockenchack.com.au.

When you make a booking, your information is sent via a secure, encrypted channel. No credit card information is stored on our website. Your details will not be shared with any third party, except where necessary to facilitate your stay.

Frequently Asked Questions:

When will my card be charged?

Your nominated credit card will be charged the full amount approximately one week prior to your check in date.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is available from 3:00pm and check out time is no later than 10:00am.

Can I request an early check in?

This is generally not available because we will often have other guests checking out on the day you check in so our wonderful cleaners need the full amount of time to turn the entire house around ahead of your arrival. It's not like just flipping a motel room. Sometimes we may be able to offer that we start your tasting earlier at 2pm and by the time this comes to and end you will be ready to check in to the B&B.

How do I get around?

Brockenchack Vineyard is set in a private, rural location within Eden Valley. You will need a car during your stay and will have to travel on several kilometers of unsealed roads to get to our property. We are a 15 minute drive from the nearest township of Angaston. We would suggest a localtour driverfor a day of winery visits and there are local taxi services available that can run you to and from town for dinner, but we do suggest a great option is to go out for nice lunches each day and then kick back and put your feet up each night with some wine and cheese, or other treasures you've found during your exploring around the Barossa.

Will anyone else be there?

Our Brockenchack B&Bs are self-contained and self-catering accommodations. Our host will greet you on arrival but you will have the venue to yourself for the duration of your stay - though you might see us working in and around the vineyard or at the cellar door. Please feel free to stop for a chat and ask any questions you may have about life on a working vineyard.

What if I need to cancel at the last minute because of Covid restriction?

We've found in recent years that Covid-19 travel restrictions and boarder closers can interrupt travel and accommodation plans with very little notice. In an instance like this, where such restrictions put in place and are out of your control and ours, we will waive any cancellation fees around associated bookings. You must send your cancellation notification through in writing for this to occur. We will refund any charges that may have already been paid.
