We are delighted to welcome your well-mannered furry friends to stay with us at Brockenchack- after all, we’re dog people too!
While we do not require a bond, we have a few conditions when bringing your fur-child with you to stay:
- Dogs must be house trained.
- Dogs must be social (with people, with our resident dogs), this includes no excessive barking (we like our neighbours!).
- Dog breed & size must be declared at time of reservation (mainly to assess cuteness and instagrammability) and please do not bring extras.
- Dogs must be clean and not leave an odour in the house.
- Clean dogs are welcome inside (it can get very cold in Eden Valley and they are family after all), however:
- They must not be left inside unattended;
- They must not sit on any furniture or any beds but you are welcome to bring your own (clean) dog bed for them to sit/sleep on inside;
- If left outside while you’re out, please ensure they are tied up.
- Pet owners will be liable foranydamage done by your pets during your stay. This includes damage to the garden. Animal damage does not constitute typical 'wear and tear' and to this end any damage requiring repair or replacement will incur additional charges.
- Signs of soiling (stains, smells, deposits) will incur an additional cleaning fee.
- We have animals (cattle and alpacas) on our property and while they are fenced in, they must not be disturbed by your pets.
- We thank you in advance for being considerate (and mindful of our next guests) by picking up after your dogs around our grounds, and disposing of in the outside bins prior to check out, otherwise an additional cleaning fee will apply.
