Brother / Sister Membership Terms And Conditions

By joining the Brockenchack Brother and Sister Membership, you agree to the terms and conditions as identified in this document and that Brockenchack Wines will automatically charge your credit or debit card prior to shipment of your wines. We ask that you please review these details before committing to this club, as every member is bound by these terms and conditions.

To join as a Brockenchack Brother or Sister member, you must be over 18. Proof of ID may be requested if you look to be under 25. It is a Liquor Licensing regulation that we collect your date of birth (DOB), to prove that you are over 18. Your DOB will be stored on file for the duration of your membership.

By joining our Brother or Sister Membership you are committing to purchasing a minimum of oneof six carefully curated packs of our premium and icon wines each year, delivered in two instalments, every six months from the date you signed up.

Your membership will roll over from year to year, indefinitely, until such time as you wish to cancel. To cancel your membership, please send an email to maddi@brockenchack.com.au.

You may change your delivery months if required, but you must still receive the minimum allocation in the calendar year.

You will be reminded of your membership renewal approximately one week prior to it renewing, at which point your credit card will automatically be charged, before your wine is dispatched.

If you cannot meet one of your renewal payments, you can opt to take a double allocation at your next delivery instead, by notifying Maddi in writing via maddi@brockenchack.com.au.

You may skip up to two non-consecutive deliveries over the course of your membership. You must notify Brockenchack in writing a minimum of two weeks prior to your next delivery, by emailing maddi@brockenchack.com.au.

If your credit card fails on one of your renewals, we will reach out to you to update your payment details. If you do not respond, or do not update your payment details within 30 days, that will be counted as one of your two ‘skips’.

Priority attendance at exclusive Brother/Sister-only events will first go to those members who are up to date on their allocation payments.

Due to our limited availability in this membership tier, if you skip more than two allocations, you automatically forfeit your place in our Brother/Sister membership tier and will be moved into our Cousin tier. Your place will be offered to the next member on our Brother/Sister waitlist. You may request to go back onto our Brother/Sister waitlist.

You cannot suspend your Brother/Sister membership. If you can no longer continue with your membership, it can either be cancelled or switched to a Cousin or Bunch membership.

You cannot substitute the wines in the Brother/Sister set packs for other wines from the Brockenchack range. If you no longer wish to receive any of the set packs, you are welcome to swap to a Cousin or Bunch membership instead.

As a valued Brother/Sister member you will also receive a 25% discount off our range of wines. The Brother/Sister percentage and dollar value discount is subject to change, and any changes will be notified via email.

Brother and Sister members will receive free delivery on all orders for the duration of your membership as a show of our thanks for your continued support and loyalty.

For security reasons, saved credit card details are not stored on our website or our servers. They are only retained by our payment gateway provider Stripe, who adhere to the strictest security protocols. Please refer to ourPrivacy Policyfor more information.

A physical delivery address must be provided for your deliveries. Your wine will either be hand delivered, or delivered by courier and someone over the age of 18 may need to sign for the wine. If it is not possible to have someone home to receive your delivery, you may supply 'Authority to Leave' instructions, clearly noting where the driver is to leave the wine (somewhere out of sight and out of the sun). It is the responsibility of the customer to supply specific/detailed instructions for a safe place in which to leave the wine. Neither the Courier, nor Tambavale Pty Ltd T/A Brockenchack will take any responsibility for wine left in the requested position, that may be stolen or exposed to the elements.

It is your responsibility to keep your delivery address updated within your Wine Club profile, or by emailing maddi@brockenchack.com.au. Wines sent to an old address may incur a courier redirection fee at your cost. Wines sent to an old address and signed for (taken), will also be at your cost. A substitute allocation, if required, can be sent, but will also be at your own cost.

Volumes of our wines may vary depending on season. You will generally receive the same vintage for your subscribed deliveries each year and will move to the next vintage the following year. The new release of William Frederick Shiraz and Jack Harrison are scheduled for April every year, unless notified prior to any delays or changes. There may be occasion where you receive the same vintage more than twice. Brockenchack reserves the right to replace some or all of the wines within your allocation with an alternative wine, in years when a vintage is not produced, or our production is not to our usual volume for any reason. We will communicate this with you if and when required and adjust the cost accordingly.

Your membership pack price may be subject to a price increase in April each year, with each new release. You will be notified of any pricing or pack changes prior to your delivery.

Your vine names will be engraved at some point within the first year of your membership and will be available for viewing at our annual members day. Brockenchack is a working farm, so at certain periods of the year the plaques with your name will be removed to avoid being damaged.

Your second night free at our B&Bs applies to you, our Brother/Sister members, and your guests, as long as they are staying at the same venue as you.

Cellar door tastings with founder and owner, Trevor Harch, will be subject to availability.

Your membership details will not be shared with any third parties, aside from those necessary to service your membership.

By signing up to this membership program you are authorising Brockenchack to automatically add you to our electronic newsletter mailing list. You must remain subscribed to the ‘Wine Club Updates’ mailing list for the duration of your membership.

Cousin Membership Terms And Conditions

By joining the Brockenchack Cousin Membership, you agree to the terms and conditions as identified in this document and that Brockenchack Wines will automatically charge your credit or debit card prior to shipment of your wines. We ask that you please review these details before committing to this club, as every member is bound by these terms and conditions.

To join as a Brockenchack Cousin member, you must be over 18. Proof of ID may be requested if you look to be under 25. It is a Liquor Licensing regulation that we collect your date of birth (DOB), to prove that you are over 18. Your DOB will be stored on file for the duration of your membership.

By signing up to our premium Cousin Membership you are committing to purchasing a minimumof one of six carefully curated packs of our premium wineseach year, delivered in two instalments, every six months, from the day you signed up.

You may nominate to suspend your membership for personal reasons, but please note anyone on ‘suspend’ will cease all member benefits during that time. You will not receive member pricing in that time, or receive invitations to our member-only events. Member benefits will be reinstated upon reinstatement of the membership in writing, to maddi@brockenchack.com.au.

If you remain on suspend for longer than one year, your membership will automatically be switched to our flexible Bunch membership tier, as we only have a limited number of places available for new Cousin members to join. In the Bunch you can skip deliveries or stay on suspend in the Bunch for as long as required. At that point you can cancel if desired.

As a valued cousin member, you will also receive a 20% discount off our range of wines. The Cousin percentage and dollar value discount is subject to change, and you will be notified via email when this occurs.

Bunch Membership Terms And Conditions

We ask that you please review these details before committing to this club, as every member is bound by these terms and conditions.

Our Bunch membership is a no-commitment wine club. You can opt out/cancel at any time. It has been designed with flexibility at the forefront, for you to tailor your wine club selections to suit your tastes and lifestyle and you are in total control.

You choose the number of bottles in your mix; three, six, or twelve. You choose the frequency of your deliveries; every one, three, or six months. You choose the wines from our extensive range of single vineyard wines.

Three bottle packs receive complimentary shipping.

Six bottle packs receive a free seventh bottle from our core range with each delivery, as well as complimentary shipping. The Brockenchack core range includes On Point Pinot Grigio, Tru-Su Rose, Great Scott Sparkling Shiraz and Zip Line Shiraz.

Twelve bottle packs receive a free thirteenth bottle from our premium range with each delivery, as well as complimentary shipping. The Brockenchack premium range includes Mackenzie William Riesling, Charli Jaye Chardonnay, Hare Hunter Pinot Noir, Megan Jane Grenache, Miss Bronte Cabernet and on special occasions, our Jack Harrison Shiraz might also be available.

Special requests regarding your free bottle may be taken into consideration, however the free bottles included in your packs will be selected at Brockenchack’s discretion.

Some Bunch members prefer to have a core bottle supplied in a twelve bottle pack (for example, 12 x Zip Line Shiraz + another Zip Line as the free bottle instead of a premium bottle) which is totally fine, just note your preference in the special delivery instructions area of your order, or email it to maddi@brockenchack.com.au.

The Icon wines excluded from the free bottle offering due to their higher value and limited production, are D.E.N Reserve Cabernet, Marilyn J Reserve Chardonnay, William Frederick Shiraz and TWH Shiraz Cabernet.

You can change your wine mix before each delivery. You will be notified approximately one week prior to your next delivery, to give you an opportunity to log in and change your wine selections or update your details.

If you do not finalise your selections prior to the cut-off date, your wines will remain the same as your last delivery or will be selected by us on your behalf.

We will automatically roll you over to new vintages.

In the instance where a wine is sold out or no longer available, we will swap out the unavailable wine in your pack with something of similar value or style.

You can increase or decrease your bottle numbers and/or delivery frequency at any time. You can skip a delivery at any time, and as many times as required. You can also suspend and reinstate your membership at any time. You can cancel at any time without penalty.
